Our Fire System Design Process
Typically our fire system design process undertaken in 6 -7 stages (7 if a Fire System Audit is required for pre-existing Fire Systems)
Stage 1: Fire System Audit.
Determine the System Category or level of protection.
Stage 2: Pre-Plan
Consulting with the project stakeholders is vital is essential for the best possible outcome. Determine the compliance with Australian Standards and local building codes as well as recommend the System Category or level of protection.
Stage 3: Detection and Alarm Zones
Propose the detection zones, and manual call points and confirm they comply with all local regulations. Alarm zones generally consist of numerous detection zones and are defined by the buildings compartment boundaries.
Stage 4: Positioning of Manual Call Points

Stage 7: Control Panel and Power Supply
The Control Panel and Power Supply must comply with Australian Standards and its designated positioned will be with the following considerations;
- In an area of relatively low fire risk
- On the ground floor entrance which the fire service will use
- In buildings of multiple occupancy, the panel should be sited within a communal area
- Visibly clear, unobstructed location.
